As Executive Assistant, Zeynep Kilik supports smooth and efficient operations and communications for the President, and works closely with The Opportunity Agenda’s Steering Committee, staff, contractors, and partners. With a background in global advocacy and nonprofit administration, she has been able to assist in furthering research projects and maintaining strong networks for domestic and international nonprofit organizations. Zeynep comes to The Opportunity Agenda from the Center for Reproductive Rights, where she supported the Europe and Asia teams, aiding team members based in New York, Switzerland, Germany, the Philippines, Nepal, and Pakistan with administrative and technical projects. She also brings her experience in public programming from PEN America, where she interned on the Literary Awards team to help coordinate the 2019 and 2020 PEN America Literary Awards, support a tight-knit team, and communicate with an extensive literary network.
Zeynep holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University in Global Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Contemporary Culture and Creative Production, and a minor in Media, Culture, and Communication. She authored her undergraduate thesis analyzing, comparing, and contrasting gentrification and urban development processes in New York City and Florence.
